The new site of Fengxian Museum, located on No.333 Hupan Road and ensconced within the new local landscape of the "Shanghai Fish" lake, will be unveiled on May 16, showcasing more than 120 pieces of treasures from Beijing's Palace Museum.

Covering an area of 20,000 square meters, the museum consists of three independent structures, connected by public green land on the roof, corridors and artificial waterways.

The opening exhibition will have more than 120 relics from the Forbidden City during the time of Emperor Yongzheng (1678-1735), depicting his life, governance and handicrafts during his time.

The event will last from May 16 to August 16.
